What is Silent Mode in Avast Antivirus?

The Do Not Disturb Mode settings are located in the Performance tab of the Avast main window. It can be disabled or enabled by ticking the boxes.

If Do Not Disturb Mode is activated when Do Not Disturb Mode is activated, all Windows and Avast notifications will be blocked if you’re running any application with full screen. Any new application that you open in full screen will automatically be added to the list of applications to block notifications for. You can also turn on Do Not Disturb Mode that will only disable notifications for the apps that you select.

To activate the Do Not Disturb Mode feature simply click the Gaming icon in the plan tray or activate the mode manually by clicking ‘Silent/Gaming mode’ in the main Avast window.
